Person-Centred & Integrative Counselling

Empowering Your Wellbeing

Taking the first step toward therapy is a powerful act of courage. With over 10 years of experience, I provide a safe, compassionate space for adults navigating overwhelming emotions, healing from painful past experiences, or seeking a deeper understanding of themselves. You don't have to walk this path alone. I'm here to support you on your journey toward balance, safety, and clarity.

A Therapy That Adapts to You

Every individual is entirely unique, which is why your therapy should be too. My practice is rooted in a person-centred approach, meaning you are the expert on your own life. I'm here to provide a non-judgemental, empathetic environment where you feel truly heard, valued, and understood.

Because no single therapeutic method works for everyone, I practise integrative counselling. This means I draw from a variety of proven psychological frameworks and techniques, including trauma-informed therapy, tailoring our sessions to your personal needs, goals, and pace. Together, we'll discover the tools and insights that resonate most deeply with you, so you can process difficult experiences safely.

Built on Ethics and Human Values

My practice is built on a steadfast commitment to professional ethical frameworks and deeply held human values. I believe every person has an inherent capacity for healing and growth when given a supportive, secure environment. High ethical standards guide every part of my practice, ensuring absolute confidentiality, safety, and respect, while helping you explore your own values, rebuild trust, and live a life that feels authentic and true to who you are.

Reclaiming Your Life

Therapy isn't just about managing difficulties. It's about reclaiming your life and flourishing. My aim is to help you rebuild agency, build resilience, and make choices that align with your highest self. Together, we'll work toward wellbeing that encompasses mind, body, and spirit, and redefine what success looks like for you, whether that's healing from past trauma, breaking free of negative thought patterns, building healthier relationships, or simply waking up with a sense of peace.

Flexible Session Formats

To suit your preferences and lifestyle, I offer flexible session formats: face-to-face sessions in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, with free on-site parking so your arrival is stress-free, plus secure online video and telephone sessions for clients across the wider UK.

Accessible, Sliding-Scale Fees

Financial circumstances shouldn't stand in the way of quality mental health support. I hold a limited number of spaces with sliding-scale fees. If you're a student, low-income earner, or experiencing financial hardship, talk to me about this during our initial contact and we'll find a rate that works for your budget.

I invite you to reach out for an initial consultation: a brief, informal conversation for us to connect, discuss what you hope to achieve, and explore how we can work together to support your wellbeing.

Life Coaching

Elevate Your Life

What is a life coach? A life coach is a growth partner who helps you bridge the gap between where you are today and where you want to be. While counselling often looks backward to heal the past, coaching looks forward to build the future. As your coach, I act as a strategic sounding board, helping you uncover your strengths, cut through the noise, and design a life that truly aligns with who you are.

How I'll Help You

Three pillars for lasting change

Unshakeable Confidence

We'll break down inner self-doubt, quiet your inner critic, and build the deep self-belief needed to take bold action and own your worth.

Intentional Productivity

We'll eliminate overwhelm, replace procrastination with focus, and design smart systems that help you reach your goals without burning out.

Authentic Balance

We'll set clear boundaries, prioritise your physical and mental wellbeing, and structure your time so you excel at work while thriving at home.

Working together, you'll gain the clarity to know what you want, the efficiency to get it done, and the peace of mind to enjoy the journey.

Structuring Time for Transformation

How Long Is a Life Coaching Session?

A standard, ongoing coaching session typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes. This is long enough to break through surface-level thoughts and uncover real insight, short enough that you leave energised rather than drained. Depending on where you are in your journey, session length generally falls into three formats:

45 to 60 Minutes

The Standard Session

Focus: Reviewing progress, exploring one or two areas of your life in depth, and designing real-world action steps.

Why it works: The most common format for weekly or bi-weekly coaching, with enough space for depth and no mental exhaustion.

90 to 120 Minutes

The Strategy Intensive

Focus: Designing your overarching life vision, breaking down long-term goals, and deep values-clarification work.

Why it works: Reserved for the start of our work together or a major life pivot. Building a foundational roadmap takes space and time.

30 Minutes

The Laser Focus Session

Focus: Rapid troubleshooting, accountability check-ins, or a motivation boost before a big moment.

Why it works: No small talk, just straight to the obstacle, a plan forward, and out. Efficient for busy schedules, used by established clients.

How Your Session Time Is Used

A productive 60-minute session is never just open-ended conversation. It's a carefully managed, collaborative process designed to make the most of your time.

First 10 Minutes

Grounding into the space, reviewing commitments from the previous week, and celebrating wins.

Middle 35 Minutes

The core coaching zone: exploring your current focus, challenging limiting beliefs, and shifting perspective through powerful questioning.

Final 15 Minutes

Translating insight into a tangible, measurable action plan for the week ahead, and setting accountability.

Ultimately, session length is designed to give your mind the space it needs to move from feeling stuck to clear, empowered action.
